Shouryendu is a dual qualified (New York and India) attorney based in New Delhi. His practice covers the full range of commercial disputes, including complex domestic and international arbitration proceedings and litigation before various domestic fora along with general corporate advisory services. Shouryendu is a Senior Panel Counsel for the Union Government for matters before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court. He regularly advises clients on litigation risk mitigation strategy and provides critical input on litigation management for disputes at various stages. Shouryendu has been recognized in the coveted list of 40 under 40 Indian lawyers by Business World Legal. Shouryendu regularly takes instructions and appears before bodies such as the Securities and Exchange Board of India, the Securities Appellate Tribunal, the National Company Law Tribunal and Appellate Tribunal. He also has a robust trial and appellate practice that entails appearance before High Courts across the country. As a thorough dispute resolution attorney, Shouryendu shepherds matters right from their genesis and shapes key litigation strategy. Besides pure-play litigation and arbitration, Shouryendu also handles white-collar investigation and prosecution, matters concerning copyright, trademark and patent protection and prosecution. He also regularly advises clients with regard to their general corporate and regulatory issues.
